Lance Corporal Victor Gustave Vignerot was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1887, at Chorlton, Manchester, the son of French-born Frederick Eugene, a designer for the calico printer, and Margaret Hannah Vignerot (née McCann), local to the area. At the time of the 1911 census, the younger Vignerot had followed into his father's trade by becoming a designer for calico printers and was living with his family at 39 Albermarle Road. .
Aged 30, Vignerot died on 2 August 1917, during the Third Battle of Ypres, while serving with the 1/5th Battalion, The Prince of Wales's Volunteers (South Lancashire Regiment) on the Western Front. He had formerly belonged to the King's (Shropshire Light Infantry).
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Menin Gate Memorial.
