Private Rinaldo ("Ronald") Marasi was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the Second World War.
He was born on 2 November 1913, in Pancras, the son of Italian-born restaurant manager Felice and Margherita Marasi (née Togni), of London. In 1939, Marasi was working in the catering trade.[1]
Marasi died on 11 August 1944, during the Italian Campaign, while serving with the 6th Battalion, The Seaforth Highlanders. A younger brother, Felix, a private in the Pioneer Corps, had died in 1941, in Northern Ireland.
He is buried in Padua War Cemetery.
