Rifleman Reuben Schilling was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1892, in Bermondsey, the son of Russian parents Isaac, a glazier, and Anna Esther Schilling. At the time of the 1911 census, Schilling was working as a stick maker and living with his family at 41 Abingdon Buildings, Bethnal Green.
Schilling died on 12 April 1917, of wounds received on the Western Front, while serving with the 9th (Service) Battalion, The King's Royal Rifle Corps.
He is buried in Le Treport Military Cemetery.
