Lance Corporal Leon Ornstein was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born at Edmonton, the son of Austrian-born Carl, who in 1911 was a manufacturing upholsterer, and Annie Ornstein (née De Vries), of London. At the time of the 1911 Census, the Ornstein family were residing at 23 Beresford Road, Canonbury.

Aged 19, Ornstein died on 2 November 1917, on the Western Front, while serving with the 22nd (County of London) Battalion (The Queen's), The London Regiment.

He is buried in Naval Trench Cemetery, Gavrelle.
