Driver Gennaro ("James") Cocozzi was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born c. 1885, in Clerkenwell, the son of Italian parents Benedetto, a general labourer, and Maria Cocozzi. At the time of the 1911 Census, the younger Cocozzi was working as a key frame maker while living with his wife, Mary Anne Cox, and his parents at 45 Victoria Dwellings.

Cocozzi died on 17 March 1918, on the Western Front, while serving with "D" Battery, 147th Brigade, RFA.

He is buried in Erquinghem-Lys Churchyard Extension.
