Private Jacob Yarmovsky was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1897, at Leeds, the son of Russian-born parents Eli, a tailor machinist by profession, and Sophia Yarmovsky. At the time of the 1911 census, the Yarmovsky family were residing at 20 Henbury Street.

Yarmovsky died on 21 March 1918, on the opening day of the German Spring Offensive on the Western Front, while serving with the 1st Battalion, The Prince of Wales's Own (West Yorkshire Regiment).

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Arras Memorial.
