Staff Serjeant Jack Canton, born Jacob Cohen, was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in Manchester, the son of Russian parents Lewis, a kosher supervisor (mashgiach), and Rachel Cohen. At the time of the 1911 Census, Cohen was working as a clerk to a cloth merchant while living with his family at 40 Brunswick Street, Hightown.

Aged 19, Canton, as he was known, died on 14 July 1916, on the Western Front, while serving with the 142nd Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps.

He is buried in Carnoy Military Cemetery.
