Sergeant Ian Alexander Zamek was an English airman of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who was killed during the Second World War.

He was born the son of Alfred and Katie Zamek (née Phillips), of Bournemouth, Hampshire.

Aged 22, Zemak, an observer in 58 Squadron, died on 3 October 1940, when his Armstrong Whitworth Whitley (serial N1434) was lost while engaged on an operation against Frankfurt, Germany.

He is buried in Berlin 1939-1945 War Cemetery. His brother, Norman, died while serving with 135 Squadron in Asia.
