Gunner George August Frederick Baatz was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.
He was born in 1911, in Bath, Somerset, the son of German-born hotel porter August Frederick William and Florence Fanny Baatz (née Mat), of Scotland.
Baatz died on 3 January 1944, during the Italian Campaign, while serving with 71 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery.
He is buried in Casino War Cemetery.
