Isaac Schwartz

Private Isaac Solomon Schwartz was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in 1890, in Leeds, the son of Polish-born tailor Arthur Solomon and Annie Schwartz (née Solomon), of Hanley. At the time of the 1911 census, Schwartz's employment was listed as a tailor's salesman and he was living with his family at 35 Parliament Square, Hanley.

Schwartz died on 4 June 1915, of wounds received on the Western Front, while serving with the 4th Battalion, The Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment).

He is buried in Bedford House Cemetery, Belgium.
