Private Eli Kafkevitch was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in Manchester, the son of Polish-born parents Jacob, a baker and grocer, and Betsy Kafkevitch. At the time of the 1911 census, the younger Kafkevitch was assisting in the business while living with his family at 152 Cheetham Hill Road.

Aged 23, Kafkevitch died on 3 July 1917, on the Western Front, while serving with the 253rd Tunnelling Company, Royal Engineers, attached from the 10th (Scottish) Battalion, The King's (Liverpool Regiment).

He is buried in Brandhoek Military Cemetery.
