Private Donato Riella was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the Second World War.

He was born in 1916, in South Shields, the son of Italian-born baker Donato and Frances Isabella Riella (née Corkin), of Durham.

Riella died on 11 February 1944, at the Anzio beachhead, while serving with the 2nd Battalion, The Sherwood Foresters (Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment) in the Italian Campaign.

He is buried in Anzio War Cemetery.
