Leading Cook Domenico Calleja was a Maltese sailor of the Royal Navy who died during the Second World War.

He was born in Malta, the son of Lorenzo and Carmena Calleja.

Aged 28, Calleja died on 20 May 1940, during the Norwegian Campaign, when German aircraft sunk the C-class light cruiser HMS Curlew in Lavangsfjord, near to Narvik.

Calleja, who had married Pauline of Flintshire, has no known grave and is commemorated by the Plymouth Naval Memorial.
