Officer's Cook 1st Class Carmelo Conti was a Maltese sailor of the Royal Navy who died during the First World War.

He was born on 15 March 1871, in Valetta, the son of John and Mary Conti, and the husband of Guiseppa.

Conti died on 31 May 1916, during the Battle of Jutland, when the battlecruiser HMS Queen Mary exploded after the ship's magazines were hit, with the loss of 1,266 crew. He had enlisted in the navy in 1891.

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Plymouth Naval Memorial.
