Assistant Cook Carmel D'Andrea was a Maltese sailor of the Royal Navy who died during the Second World War.

He was born the son of Joseph and Antonia D'Andrea (née Stafrace), of Sliema, Malta.

D'Andrea died on 22 May 1941 during the Battle of Crete, when German Stuka dive-bombers sunk the Town-class light cruiser HMS Gloucester, with the loss of 722 crew.

He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Plymouth Naval Memorial.
