Pilot Officer Bert Alex Majaki (or Majika), DFC was an English airman of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died during the Second World War.

He was born in 1921, at Shoreditch, the son of Lithuanian parents Stanislau (Stanley) and Antonia Majaki (née Wewer).

Majaki, a bomb aimer with 578 Squadron, died on 9 October 1944 when his Handley Page Halifax (serial LK830) was fired upon by another Halifax. The gunfire killed Majaki instantly and wounded Sergeant Ken Shearsby. Their Halifax had been returning from an operation - the crew's 40th and final - against the German town of Bochum.^[1] He had married, in 1943, to Dorothy Eileen Hobday.

He is buried in St Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Leytonstone.
