Lieutenant Artur Jan Marcin Maria ("Arthur") Suminski was a Polish officer of the British Army who was killed during the Second World War.
He was born on 11 November 1908, in Lwów, in the Russian Empire (present-day Ukraine), the son of Artur Edward and Sabina Nina Anna Sumiński (née Oczosalska).[1]
Suminski died on 25 December 1944, during the Burma Campaign, while serving with the Royal Artillery, attached to Headquarters V Force.
He has no known grave and is commemorated by the Rangoon Memorial.
