Rifleman Abraham Louis Strauss was an English soldier of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in Whitechapel, the son of Lithuanian-born parents Davis, a boot maker, and Rosie Strauss. At the time of the 1911 census, the younger Strauss was working as a tailor and living with his family at 18 Princelet Street, Brick Lane.

Aged 23, Strauss died on 24 May 1915, during the Second Battle of Ypres, while serving with the 17th (County of London) Battalion (Poplar and Stepney Rifles), The London Regiment. He had arrived on the Western Front in March, with his battalion.

He is buried in Woburn Abbey Cemetery, Cuinchy.
