Second Lieutenant Abraham Slowe was a British officer of the British Army who died during the First World War.

He was born in Russia, the eldest son of Jacob Leon and Bertha Slobodinsky, who settled in Britain in the mid-1890s. At the time of the 1911 Census, Slobodinsky was working as a clerk to his father, a tobacco dealer, while living with his family at 196 Amhurst Road, Hackney.

Aged 24, Slowe, as he was known, died on 25 August 1917, succumbing to gunshot wounds at No. 17 Casualty Clearing Station.[1] He had been serving on the Western Front with the 6th (Service) Battalion, The King's Own (Yorkshire Light Infantry).

He is buried in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery.
